I thought we had exhausted the subject of Tottenham appearing on various magazine covers when it was used as a mid week diversion last season. However since I announced its demise these new titles rattled into the inbox, so thanks to you all who responded. Any new titles or just amazing Spurs related covers welcome. We start this roundup in the current day but will slip back nearly a hundred years and find ourselves in several countries.  Starting with Fantasy Football magazine from the season just ended, surely Harry Kane was in many of your teams.

Next this cover comes from an Italian magazine. The date looks like its 27th November 1947 and Tottenham were in the second division.

Below Left - Christian Eriksen comes under the microscope of the top Danish sports magazine. The story suggests he will be going to Barcelona this summer (so nothing new there) but they claim the fee will be 80 million pounds.

Center - A slightly lower fee would have got you Joe Kinnear in 1969. The Rover (and by then it had merged with the wizard.)

Above Right - And the Weekly News has Steve Archibald in April 1981 looking forward to the World Cup games for the following summer.

Left - And another World Cup hopeful. Jim Brown of the New York Giants shows his skills in April 1930 for the America magazine Soccer Star. Jim would play for the USA that summer and later played for Spurs.

The one title we have featured before was the Lilywhite and here are some more great cover shots. Left May 1973 and Mr & Mrs Perryman. Center Bobby Smith with a cow from August 1961 while right also 1973 Alan Gilzean and Martin Chivers who (I think) are checking out WHL's sound-system.

Left - The Nelson Lee Library features Jimmy Dimmock in May 1922. Inside there was a profile of Jimmy by the sports reporter .'The Rover.'
Sorry I don't have a copy of the Yellow Grip!

Right - We find captain Martin Peters catching up with 'The Captains' comic.
