In The Collection we look at various artifacts from the clubs history. This latest gathering starts with the banner from the last game at White Hart Lane. This one using the famous Nicholson gates photo.
Next and the friendly match with Glasgow Celtic in August 1967, they had just become European Champions. Before the game the sides exchanged rugs instead of the traditional pennants. Keep an eye out in pre-season.
The first game since they had become Champions saw a 3-3 draw at Hampden Park and both teams cheered from the pitch.
Below - A more recent item showing the 'two Lanes' with EPL and NFL logos.
Below left - The medals this time come from the London FA Challenge Cup win in 1911 (we only won it twice the other was 1929).
On the right - The South Eastern Football League winners, also from 1911 won by the reserve side who won the title four times in ten years.
Right - Eddie Baily, This is the letter he received when he left the club in 1974.
Below right - Eddies tankard from our League Cup win in 1973.
Left - Another tankard and this time the one presented by Bill Nicholson to those who contributed to his testimonial match.
From the Lane in its final days. While below a tie pin produced for our tour in 1971 and our three game tour to Japan when we played an-All Japan XI , winning each game.
This is the last scheduled Collection, I do have some more on the file but if you have any little treasures then do let me know.
