Picture
The Art of Tottenham where we look at how the artist / cartoonist has seen Spurs over the years. From the serious to the silly. I'm sure you will enjoy a quick wander through this latest collection of works.

Top and another from the pen of Zelda. While below we go back to March 1921 and the newspapers take on the FA Cup semi final at Hillsborough and who will be entering the Cup Inn?

Right - Harry Kane, sorry cant tell you the artist on this one. If anyone has any info on any of the images shown always I'm pleased to be informed and credit where due.

Below left - And Danny Blanchflower's transfer from Aston Villa. The papers give their view on the transfer fee.

Below Right -  Danny's half back partner Dave Mackay by Sallon

Picture
Below - Again no artist but it was captioned 1983. White Hart Lane packed under the lights.
Picture
Below - Punch magazine and their take on the Spurs fans traveling in Europe the following year.

The caption reads - 'No m'sieur on the whole the Spurs supporters behaved themselves quite well here in Belgium last week.'

Picture
Below the Lancashire Evening Post- 16th Feb 1901. Their review of the FA Cup, 1st Round. "What a fuss over the first hurdle down went Southampton Saint and Millwall Lion. The Newcastle Champion too was on the wrong side but the Tottenham Cockspur after a desperate struggle got over. What a lot of good ums have gone but then what a lot of good ums we have left.'

Above - You can see the Tottenham Cockspur with its beak just ahead of the field. Where of course we will end that season. The  character on the right is the professor and he acts as a narrator.
After a draw at home we won the replay 4-2 at Preston

Left -Tim Sherwood, and I would suspect this is the work of David Squires.

Below - the 1953 Cup semi's.

hanks for sharing the article, and more importantly, your personal experience of mindfully using our emotions as data about our inner state and knowing when it’s better to de-escalate by taking a time out are great tools. Appreciate you reading and sharing your story since I can certainly relate and I think others can to
