Welcome to the latest set of artist impressions of Tottenham collected together for you pleasure. I've given what information I have on these images, if anyone can throw more light on them please contact me. They range from recent computised creations to the press coverage over the years. 'The Art' will return in a coupe of weeks. This top pic is the magic man himself. Its by someone called Owen. I don't know if that's is a first or last name. So attempts to track him down have been unsuccessful. We start in 1905 and when Spurs beat Liverpool to send them to the bottom of the table the Mersey press were not overly kind to their local side. As you can see the Cockerel's spur impaling their team. Below three more recent players starting Harry Kane, Erik Lamela and Gary Lineker all receiving the artists attention. The press again and this time the Yorkshire papers welcoming and introducing Les Stevens to Bradford after his transfer to Bradford from Spurs. Les from South London was an amateur with Spurs coming through the junior teams and the Northfleet nursery. He scored 13 goals for us before moving. He was only with Bradford a year before south to Crystal Palace. Two images of Danny Blanchflower below, left by Khalid and center a much younger newspaper version from his time at Villa, On the right another one of the fabulous images from Zelda. Tom Webster again and his view of the world from the Daily Mail 1922. Here he depicts the poor Spurs supporter. The press again, and this is almost certainly by David Squires and his take on the England team before the last Euros. Below Left - WHL, any suggestions to the artist? Right- Another from the Gallagher series of pics (most likely 1927). This time it features the visit of West Brom.
