For your weekend diversion during the international break, welcome to the latest roundup of art works featuring Tottenham and we start with Gareth Bale. This bust of him produced last year by Emanuel Santos. As usual I've provided any info I have to hand if you can shed any light on any of these works or have any pieces not yet featured in this series please feel free to contact me. Right - Dele with a drawing of himself. Below - I know these old cartoons have a good following, this one is from 1922 and we see the four teams left in the FA Cup playing musical chairs with the winning two reaching the final. 'Mr Green Un' is the newspaper involved. Below we have two images that have stated life as photographs. The left is our Championship winning side in 1951 while on the right we have Perryman and Ardiles and the FA Cup trophy of the 80's Next up three great Spurs players on the left we have Willie Evans and this is another from the pen of his fellow player Johnny Downes. The center we find Bobby Smith and on the right Tommy Clay. Presented with The Football Special September 1922. Below something different - Two views of White Hart Lane, Tottenham. Both from John Bonney a local artist (1874-1948). On the right we have 'Ye olde farm house.' (possibly painted 1920). The right is 'The Rectory farm.' So not changed too much then! To close another 'celebrity autograph' this time Pat Jennings.
