Welcome to the next set of 'art work' featuring Tottenham. A series that seems very popular if the mail bag is anything to go by. There will be a short 'series' over the next few weeks. Once again I've identified and tried tracking down the artist where possible. Any information welcome.

This top one (possibly by Hamzahl Lakers) and the old WHL Cockerel.

Harry Kane in full flow and again ? Harzin Harif.

Next is Bobby Smith and Jimmy Greaves. They appear to be on holiday and both signed the original.

Below left - Glen Hoddle by Paul Trevillion.
Center - Another,  Bill Nicholson.
Right - Gareth Bale.

Jimmy once said of Bobby he was the nicest man you could want to meet as along as there wasn't a football in the room.

They are the only two men to top 200 goals for Spurs, Jimmy with 266 and Bobby 208.

Left a cartoon from Punch magazine in 1991.

Below - Tom Webster who we have featured before. Another one of his lovely humorous match reports.

This time its the FA Cup Semi Final, 1922. These appeared in the Midland press and later like this one the Daily Mail.

Right and this comes from Keith Waite in the Daily Sketch (April 62). The husband is telling the pollster 'Mabel rather fancies Eddie Fisher (a singer) the kids are for Benfica, Gran is for Richard Burton (actor) and I'm having a few bob on Spurs.'

While in the back ground posters are being put up for the general election.

The next one is a slight cheat its the match programme from our game in France with Red Star in 1913, but I liked it.
Center - Arthur Rowe here as a player and later Championship winning manager. Drawn by fellow player Johnny Downes in 38/39.
Right - Erik Dier shows off a pic of himself.

Next one was passed on to me recently, no clue where it  appeared, clearly fairly recent, Not sure about the shirts it does tend to give a superheroes appearance, or maybe that's the idea.

Below - What appears to be a 'cigarette card' but these sets were issued by many different companies.

On the day we officially opened WHL in 1899 with a game against Notts County. One of the linesmen was Ham Casey, one of the clubs founders.

'The Art' will be back shortly, in meantime if you have any pieces that should be included (especially if you know the who and when) do get in contact.
