The Art of Tottenham and another gathering of artist images relating to Spurs drawn from across the years.

This time we start with this one which was passed on to me. Rather clever but little idea of its origin.

The Birmingham Gazette this time March 1954. So I expect its another Norman Edwards pic. So that would be the FA Cup quarter final that year which saw us go out.

Next up we have The Rover comic dated Feb 26th 1949.
And a story I seem to recall, but that might just be from The Rover !

I've tried tracking down this tale which would of been early 20's but so far no joy.

Spurs win in Liverpool October 1910 2-1 and this is how the Liverpool local press reported the game. Tiny Joyce was the Spurs keeper. This defeat sent the Merseyside club to the foot of the table.

The Birmingham press looking forward to the 1956 Cup semi final at Villa Park.
