Talking Tottenham - The 7th Ad Break

With the clubs taking a break it must be time for us to do so as well.
The latest group of adverts, commercial enterprises etc surrounding the club starts with Dele Alli who seems to have been very busy this summer and here we find him in a taxi with the film crew from EA Sports.

Thanks to everyone who commented I'm still looking for classic ads - Jimmy Greaves as a removals man, Terry Venables selling record players, Dave Mackay and Tartan Bitter.

Next up its Paul Gascoigne and his agent has told him to smile and that will sell more copies of his book.

Below we have another midfield maestro - Glenn Hoddle on the left modelling the Admiral kits in 1978 and on the right another from the series he did for Shredded Wheat.

They say footballers can sell anything here Mike England went overboard advertising rubber dinghies.

Below we like to include some 'club ads' in each break and on the left the Spurs shops catalogue from 1996. (No rubber dinghies).

Advertising can be thirsty work so if you don't like the bottled stuff why not sample a 'Bale Ale'

We always slip in a boots ad and above its the 1959 style ad while above Dele (again) draws your attention to his new boots deal, in case the training jacket did not give you a clue.

Left - Having featured Bill Watson and 'Fit for Footy' recently here is an advert for another one of his other books as Dave Mackay jumps to it.
