The Ad Break where we look back at various aspects of commercial enterprises and activities the club and players have been involved with over the last hundred years or thereabouts. This look starts with our trip to Cyprus for European action and ESPN's coverage. This appeared in the national press in July 1976. Don't bother applying two weeks later they appointed Keith Burkenshaw. Below - Dele gets involved with Pepsi. While another beverage right. The FA cup wasn't filled with champagne in 1961 it seems Guinness beat them to it prior to the final. Another image that has so far eluded me is that Cyril Knowles once owned a Fish and Chips shop and there is (somewhere) a picture of him serving up a bag of chips. It looks like Christian Zeige our former full back is taking his work home with him in this ad for Enterprises Car rental. Below right - my recent suggestion the ad break was coming to an end (after two years) brought forth a stream of contributions including Hummel sportswear ads this one features Glenn Hoddle Above Left - I remember this ad from 1966 and knowing the mystery opponent and also the fact that at the time I thought the headline could of been worded differently. If you don't know the answer is at the end. Left and Dembele, not so much an advert but at least we know where he goes shopping. Two older ads, on the left Bert Bliss looks out over the east terracing in 1921 for DeWitts pills. Distressing pains in the back and joints disappear after taking them. Right - 1960 and Bell Boy bubble gum contained a football club sticker. Right - Harry Kane and yet another Nike boot promo! COYS Keith Harrison. t- Keith 16024542 f - https://www.facebook.com/keith.harrison.9659 My profile / archive is @ http://www.indiaspurs.com/keith_harrison.html The Ad break will be back once the new season is underway for a short run in the meantime you catch the earlier articles @ http://www.indiaspurs.com/blog/talking-tottenham-past-conversations And the mystery man was Spurs goalkeeper from the forties and fifties Ted Ditchburn.

It's true that a lot of memorable advertisements have ben launched in the past that are still fresh on everyone's minds. This must be a prose for those who made these ads because it's really hard to leave a mark especially with a situation like these wherein different advertisements are being aired in television and through online. You will know how hard it could be when you experienced making one for yourself.
