Talking Tottenham - The 12th Ad Break

Little did I think eighteen months ago when I launched the Advertising Break that it would last so long. The latest trawl through Spurs related adverts and commercial enterprise brings us another set from across the ages and a few that I think might surprise you. However we start with Dele and his recent foray with BT Sport.

Next up another from Harry Kane and the series looking at wireless headphones.

Below Left - The 'Zug Ball' from 1904 with an endorsement  from the club.
Right - Its 1914 and our game V Chelsea for a war charity.

Alfie Conn was the first man to play for both the Glasgow giants. When he was asked which he preferred Rangers or Celtic he answered 'Spurs.'

From 1982 and a TV programme about the Admiral sportswear company featuring our stars. And a Tottenham Cup Wining side featured in the next next advert below. It's ran was throughout 1920, before we won the trophy, into the following glorious year and featured in a number of national and local papers.

Spurs were the only team to go through the 1994 season without a 0-0 draw to their name. It was the seventh time in the league career they had managed that.

During his playing days Tommy clay was involved in the coal merchant business and later owned a chain of car parts shops.

A couple from Gary Lineker and his long running series for Walker Crisps. You cant help thinking he must need the money.
