The Ad Break returns to help pass the time to kick off. A series that started as a little fun has certainly proved a winner with you. This time we have one advert you wish you had answered as well as various commercial adventures of club and players over the years. First up and Gary Lineker from his Walker Crisps series, here he is being tempted by Terry Venables whilst England manager Bobby Robson looks on. Another striker promoting 'junk food' and we catch Peter Crouch in one of his forays with Pringles. Footballers should of course stick to selling boots and below right Harry Kane with his latest boot deal whilst left Fanny Walden advertises a sports shop from the 20's that sold Walden Boots and balls. Left Jimmy Greaves tempts readers to join him in his Sun newspaper column. So we will forgive the red shirt. Below right - This ad is from 1931. You have to wonder how many people replied to this. Another offer you would of snapped up and the Badminton magazine issue of 1901 carrying a picture of the newly crowned Cup Winners! Center - Another magazine ad and Gazza appears promoting Adidas goods. Right - Still cant find the ad of Terry Venables and Amstrad computers. So please make do with former chairman Alan Sugar appearing instead promoting his company. Terry did appear in this from 1996 as England manager and part of Nivera's sponsorship of the national team. Cup finals always attracts the advertisers and left below its 1961. Right and 40 years earlier Arthur Grimsdell our England captain and it seems his success came from wearing Read Indian moccasins. To close this is from 1974 and some of the toys available in the Spurs Shop. Rabbits with Dresses and only four pound seventy!
