Madonna, Kylie and Gazza, what a way to kick off the latest collection of cover stories as we seek out Spurs and where they have turned up on the news-stands over the years. As we look back over eighty years and uncover some unexpected titles. Whilst right the short lived Football Supporter March '69 had Jimmy Greaves. The Midland based Soccer Star, 12th March 1955 and Ron Reynolds offers 'a prayer in vain' watched by Alf Ramsey as the visitors score at WHL. The week before we drew 2-2 with Manchester City at home. The paper also reports the 1894 Boot Incident, one suspects Ernie Payne. In which case a story we covered in the Northumberland Days series. Below Left - Gilzean from the Arsenal game '68 makes the Charles Buchan's magazine. Center our own supporters club and the Lilywhite (with Les Bennett) from April 1951.
