A midweek diversion and another chance to gather together a few images from the Talking Tottenham files that might otherwise escape your attention. Starting with, the Tottenham racing car which we featured some time ago and this image shows our vehicle in the pits. We also dip into cakes, toys and tatts! As well as a few odd snippets.
You may well know that I try not to spend too much time on social media and therefore I pause to thank everyone who sent in various pics especially a couple of 'old shelfies' who really need a hobby. I did say no more tattoo's unless they are really special. Clearly someone took this as a challenge. And I think these top pics do come under that heading!!
So a special 'ta' to both the artist and his 'canvases' for these fabulous pieces of art work.
When Steve Archibald was once asked what was it like to hold the UEFA Cup he relied – heavy.
I also thought we had run out of cakes but crumbs there are some clever souls out there.
Not sure where to fit this in but wow that's a table lamp!
Danny Blanchflower reflecting on winning the Double ‘ I’m gald it has come at the twilight of my career, its the right time for it. I feel sorry for the younger lads the rest of their soccer lives must be an anti-climax.'
I knew it was a mistake (unlike tattoos) to say I think we have reached the end of the Tottenham Toys. Jimmy Greaves features next, below left we have been looking at Spurs Stamps this season and here he is with his. While Right he is now on the National Football Museums Walk of Fame.
