Portrait Gallery - Second Visit

The Portrait Gallery where we look at some of the artists impressions of Tottenham men over the years and supply a photographic reminder (where needed) so that you can judge just how well the artist caught their subject.

We start with our captain form the fifties Championship winning side, Ron Burgess, his further likenesses are below.

Wally Alsford,

An Edmonton Boy was a graduate from the Northfleet side and went on to win an England cap.
A half back who played 90 times for Spurs.

Eddie Baily another giant from the fifties side we profiled recently and the second Spurs man to play in the World Cup Finals.

Below three Lilywhites that need no photo in the form of Kane, Modric and Dawson.

Bert Sproston who joined us in 1938 and left shortly after but stayed long enough to win two more England caps and play for the Football League.

Eugene 'Taffy' O'Callaghan, A Welsh international who played nearly 300 games for Spurs and later moved to Leicester.
