White Hart Lane, a holy place for any Spurs fan. A place that every Spurs fan dreams of visiting on a match day ... someday, one day. Its difficult fulfilling this dream for an Spurs fan in India for obvious reasons. But the passion, the love, the support and the hunger to be there one day will never fade. So how can we fulfil this dream? This question keep haunting Spurs fans up & down the country. Before that, another question arises. What will it be like to actually be at White Hart Lane? The chants, the banter, the excitement? Damn, that can only be experienced if you are there. That's what I thought until I met other Spurs fans from my city at the screening of our first home game at our new 'home' venue in Bangalore. I was thrilled to see that these fans were as passionate as me, who loved the club the same as me, and who have the same dream as I do. It may not have been quite the same as being at White Hart Lane but it certainly came close to feeling like I really am living the dream, chanting my lungs out with other fellow yiddos. It's hard to explain the feeling; just thinking about it is giving me goose bumps. Attending the screening last Sunday made me feel like I was at our very own little White Hart Lane in my city. This also made me realise that I HAVE to be there every week with the other yiddos supporting and watching "the Spurs go marching on, on, on".
After this memorable experience, I can proudly say: "Tottenham Hotspur, we can't smile without you". About the author: Anoop Manjunath follow Anoop @ www.facebook.com/anoop.manjunath
