![]() A number of the clubs fans, including myself, had written to the club over the years suggesting the establishment of a Hall of Fame which the club finally agreed to and this came into being in March 2004. At that time Bill Nicholson and twelve players from the glorious winning Double side of 1960/61 were inducted. In the years since that number has now grown to forty five. Recently I have wrote to the club stating I felt the number of inductees from previous generations did not reflect the rich history that the club is so proud of. I acknowledged that the club may wish to honour players that have since passed separately from those still with us. To this end I suggested that September 5th may be a suitable date in that it is widely acknowledged as the Club’s anniversary. The Club responded that the idea clearly had some merit and they accepted that there were a number of former players that deserved to be included. They indicted they would investigate the composition of the Hall. At this point I’m unaware of any further developments. I have listed below the current members of this select band, as at 1st July 2016. Clive Allen
