Every Picture - Set 28

Every Picture where we try and dig out some of the great Spurs related images which you might not have seen or deserve another viewing. This does mean of course we are looking back more than at the current pictures but if you have any that haven't seen service across endless social media do contact me. 
In the meantime I feel sure this set will entertain you with a mix of action and off duty pics, and even a wedding.

Below Left - Alf Ramsey wasn't known for his outgoing charm and his usual tipple was a gin and tonic so quite a rare picture with Lady Ramsey from 1979.

Right - Ramsey once said of Martin Peters 'he was ten years ahead of his time.'
Here we see Martin checking out a film crew.

Ralph Ward in 1945. Signed for Spurs after impressing in two cup games against Spurs for Bradford in 1936. A full back he still managed 28 goals in over 350 appearances and skippered the side during the war years. Later he was an assistant golf professional and also managed Crewe who he had joined after 10 years at Spurs.

Below Left - We have featured this game before its Leeds in the Cup replay 1954 and we saw the ref's pitch inspection and the groundsman sweeping surface water from the pitch.  Here we actually see the game which Spurs won.
