A short diversion for the weekend and the latest set of Every Picture I am quite confident contains some that will be new to you, but they are all well worth another look.
Thank you again to those who sent in some of these treasures to add to the maze in the photo files .
Top - David Ginola in 1998 V Everton.
Several of the images this time have a Brighton connection staring with this one. Garth Crooks in 1980.
Below left, Arthur Rowe and captain Ron Burgess check the ball.
Right - Someone asked me if 'these were any good to you?' Its the Nicholson family and a very young William is being held by his dad.
Left - Its 1933 and the players take 'gargles' for flu prevention.
Below - Chris Houghton in the UEFA Cup Final V Anderlecht 1984.
Below left - Bobby Smith after he left Spurs and during his short spell with Brighton.
Center - William McNair, another Scot joined in 1907 as center forward and as cover for Vivian Woodward, he scored seven goals in 24 games.
Right - Terry Dyson and camel during the Egypt trip Nov 1962.
Spurs at home to Brighton Jan. 1906, below. Spurs have a corner. Spurs won the Southern League encounter 3-0 with goals from Bull, Walton and Woodward.
Earlier I used the caption 'the name's Greaves, Jimmy Greaves' with a picture of Jimmy meeting Sean Connery and this was sent in. Jimmy reading a Bond thriller.
Another award - Did you know Jim was named as pipe smoker of the year in 1985?
