Every Picture returns with another set of images from the World of Hotspur that deserve another run out. We start with the night the lights went out in Besiktas during out Europa League tie in December 2014 and the crowd responded by using their mobile phones. This montage is from the Spurs and newly promoted West Bromwich game. in September 1911. It appeared in Lotinga's weekly, a sporting magazine that ran from March 1910 to July 1915. Appearing every Saturday and costing one penny it was a victim of the reduced sport during World War 1. At the top we have a view of the ground with the game in progress. The two goalies are featured, Tottenham’s Tommy Lunn is on the right in the darker jumper. The action picture on the left is the Bromwich goalie punching clear a corner. On the right we have Sandy Young heading towards goal. The center oval is the Spurs crowd as Minter scores the only goal of the game, the gate was 31,000. Bottom right another attack by Spurs at the Park Lane End. Above left - Garth Crooks against Swansea in 1983 and right Gary Mabbutt is carried from the pitch in 1996. Above - dramatic skies and dramatic action as Harry Winks gets a cross in away to Manchester United last season. Left - Ossie Ardiles celebrates a goal. Below left - An off duty moment and future manager Harry Redknapp's wedding day. Above Right - Ron Reynolds gathers in - 1956. The team picture this time is the reserves in the 1933/34 season. I'm glad I didn't have to name them, but a few went on to better things. Back (left to right): Percy Smith (Manager), G. Hardy (trainer), John Illingworth, Allan Taylor, William 'bill' Felton, George Greenfield, W. Phillips. Front: Len Bolan, Leslie Howe, John Morrison, James Brain, Foster Hedley, David 'Jack' Levene. Anyone know the two in front? Left - Ledley King tussles with Alan Shearer. Below- Hugo Lloris seems to be enjoying a joke with the ref. COYS Keith Harrison. t- Keith 16024542 f - https://www.facebook.com/keith.harrison.9659 My profile / archive is @ - View Full Bio Previous sets are @ http://www.indiaspurs.com/blog/hotspur-towers-the-arts-media
