 Every Picture is where we gather various Spurs images from across the ages and give them another deserved ran-out. Hopefully some will be new to you We start this set with Hugo Lloris keeping a close eye on things.  Next up is the Young Boys game at White Hart Lane in the Champions League. Having lost the first leg Spurs turn the tie around and progress. Bale, Crouch and Assou-Ekotto seem quite pleased with that.

Above left - A bootless Alfie Conn gets a shot away in 1976, and right Leeds United are at the Lane in March 1925. That looks like Jimmy Seed, who scored in the game.  Its Cup fever at The Lane in 1937 as Second Division Spurs host high flying Preston. Fans sit at pitch side whilst there are people hanging on the outside of the Shelf.  Action from the same game with the Preston goal under threat. Again people along the east side on the cinder-track. Note the square posts then and the position the ref has taken up. Leeds would beat us 1-3 in that quarter final tie.  Forward to the 80's and Paul Miller in blood splatted shirt. In the days when blood injuries were seen as part of the game and long before health scares. Another sign of the times as below the cockerel is brought to ground. After two years Every Picture is having a well deserved rest, can it be that long since we launched with Jimmy Greaves in a Liverpool shirt.
