Cardiff 0-1 Spurs - Match report

Priceless 3 points in the end and they are priceless in every sense of the word. 29 Shots in the end for us. Marshall was terrific for them and it looked like it was heading that way, until Lewis, Lamela and Paulinho combined. Exactly what they can do. Produce a piece of brilliance out of nowhere and that's what they did.

Paulinho for me had a really good game. Growing into our team as a player, making more and more late runs into the box and the winner was just that. Such a clever player.

Eriksen had another good game, as did Gylfi. Infact, if it wasn't for Marshall, we could've well had 4 or 5, such was our dominance.

Soldado, Sigurdsson would all feel unlucky but had good games in general. Lamela's ball for Paulinho was brilliant and Lewis showed why he's so important to the team. Just provides something different. Deserved the win at the end and if you are going to challenge for the top, you have to go to places like these and get job done, one way or the other. We did just that. We have now the best defence in the PL. Just 1 goal conceded in 720 minutes of football this season as a whole.

Lloris looked shaky after his "reprieve" but all in all, did fairly well. I think Naughton looked out of sorts at left back. Probably need a different alternative there in the future but he got better as the game progressed. Still not the final product but we're gelling well, getting better. 2nd in the table. Behind just on goal difference. Bring it on Chelsea. Onwards and upwards. COYS!!!
