Spurs & Everton are the favourites for the week as they face Newcastle & Burnley. While Newcastle have won only one in the last 5 games, Burnley have none. Chelsea & United face each other at Old Trafford and the recent history between the two clubs suggests sparks could fly unless Jose decides to park the bus.
Toby Alderweireld of Southampton with just a 5.0 price tag is a big bargain considering the present form of the saints & their easy fixtures ahead. Gabriel Obertan of Newcastle has earned a total of 16 points in the past two gameweeks. His 4.4 price tag means you could use him to fill up the 5th midfielder slot in your team. though, you might want to consider waiting another two weeks as the magpies face Spurs & Liverpool in consecutive fixtures. Diafra Sakho(5.7) of Westham has scored a goal each in the last four fixtures for the hammers and looks like the perfect choice to replace the now not-in-a-great-form Ulloa.
TEAMS AND PLAYERS TO AVOID:
Avoid defenders from Newcastle & Burnley coz of their tough fixtures. Big game of the week is Chelsea-United. Whether big or not, just avoid United defenders.
Diego Costa is supposedly out with a hamstring injury though he's still likely to play a part against Man Utd. Azpilicueta & Rooney are both suspended for the gameweek and hence, will miss the same match. Another on the suspension list is Jack Wilshere. Kyle walker, Sturridge & half of Arsenal team still remain out with long term injuries.
PLAYERS TO WATCH:
Leighton Baines : The Everton left-back was in fine form last week as he amassed 15 points with two assists and kept a clean sheet. A run of easy fixtures ahead is also a point to note.
Christian Eriksen : The Danish international has picked form after a slow start this season. With a reduced price of 7.8 and facing Newcastle, expect this young maestro to be involved in most of Spurs' moves.
Sergio Aguero : Sergio Aguero has scored 6 goals in the last 3 fixtures for City, including 4 against Spurs. Needless to say, must buy.
Prefer attacking fullbacks over halfbacks over not-so-agressive centre backs in your backline. They are more likely to get assists & they get points for clean sheets anyway.
