FAVOURABLE FIXTURES:
The results of GW3 demonstrate that there is never a match with a guaranteed outcome. With last weeks Favourable picks Manchester City and Manchester United losing and drawing respectively, shows exactly why the premier league is the best league in the world. Moreover last times results ensure that making the picks for favourable fixtures in GW4 becomes that much more difficult. This week the IndiaSpurs scout is going to stick with Manchester United, as they with their reinforcements in the shape of Di Maria, Falcao and Blind take on a lack luster QPR side who were unable to find a suitable replacement for talisman striker Remy, on deadline day. Another important match that will surely have goals in it is the game between Southampton and Newcastle United, with new Saints manager Ronald Koeman having a positive start to the season and winning the support of his fans, will look to put more pressure on Alan Pardew who has been struggling to find the right balance to his team. BARGAIN BUYS: Nathan Dyer (5.6) along with teammate Gylfi Sigurdsson (6.5) remain hot picks in FPL this season. Even though they face a daunting task away at Stamford Bridge this weekend, recent form suggests league leaders Chlesea shouldn’t take them lightly. Ryan Shawcross (5.6) is also a player many people could have on their watch list, as the defender has scored 18 points in his last 2 games, which included an impressive clean sheet again the phenomenal strike force of Manchester City. TEAMS AND PLAYERS TO AVOID: Manchester City v Arsenal is the big game this GW and with both teams having mixed results at the start of the season, they will try not to suffer a defeat this weekend to potential title rivals. A look at the injury list post the international fixtures has some key players which could have FPL managers worrying a little; Daniel Sturridge is expected to be out of action with a thigh injury for up to 3 weeks. Being one of the most expensive players in the game this season (11.5), it seems likely that FPL managers will look to replace him and reinvest the money in other top players. Good news for Rogers is that Adam Lallana is expected is back in training and expected to have his debut this weekend.Another injury concern is Aaron Ramsey who picked up a knock while playing for the Welsh national team. While Kyle Walker, Michael Carrick, Alvaro Negredo, Luke Shaw, Christian Benteke all still remain sidelined with injury. PLAYERS TO WATCH: Mario Balotelli : After an impressive (yet goalless) debut against Spurs last time out, it seems that the stage is set for Mario to shine again in the premier league as his Liverpool side take on Aston Villa. Diego Costa : After scoring 4 goals in his first 3 games for Chelsea this season in the league, Costa remains the best value for money in FPL this season and one player every manager should look to get in for the remainder of the season (if he remains fit). Danny Welbeck : After an impressive display with England during the international break, Welbeck will look to continue that form for his new side Arsenal as he is expected to make his debut for the club this weekend.
