![]() FAVOURABLE FIXTURES: Manchester City look like the favourites this GW, as they face Stoke, who have conceded in both of their previous matches and stand on 15th, with 1 point from two matches. Manchester United face newcomers Burnley who are yet to open their account in the top flight. But as per the present standings, they don't seem to be much better off than their opposition. BARGAIN BUYS: Gylfi Sigurdsson's stock is rising day by day as the former Spurs player continues to impress with the Swans. The midfielder now costs 6.4 & those who are yet to get him should seriously think about it. Danny Rose of Spurs, who surprisingly still costs the same as his base price(5.0) despite being ranked the 3rd among defenders is one to consider. Although, a tricky fixture with Liverpool means you might want to wait till the start of next week before drafting him in. Steven Naismith of Everton is currently the FPL top scorer among strikers and with a price as low as 5.2(base price : 5.0), this player is definitely a steal. Paul Dummet of Newcastle & Alan Hutton of Villa, priced at 4.0 & 4.1 are the other cheap players you might want to have a look at. TEAMS AND PLAYERS TO AVOID: Stoke & Leicester players are better left out as they face City(placed 3rd) & Arsenal(still 4th). Another thing to consider is benching the defenders/goalkeepers of the teams in crunch matches, namely Everton-Chelsea & Spurs-Liverpool. Kyle Walker, Ander Herrera, Alvaro Negredo, Luke Shaw, Christian Benteke & Adam Lallana all remain sidelined with injury. Diego Costa is also not likely to start for Chelsea this GW. Fantasy managers are advised to make the necessary substitutions. PLAYERS TO WATCH: Siem de Jong : The Newcastle midfielder arrived this summer from Ajax; where he's scored plenty of goals in the past few years. The Dutch was in good form form in pre-season as well. After recovering from a foot problem, he could be set for his first start against Palace and might be the answer to the Magpies’ goal scoring issues. Erik Lamela : 'Coco' has already impressed fans all across with his performance in the last two matches. Expect him to continue in the same run against Liverpool at the Lane. Another point in his favour would be the 8.0 price tag which hasn't changed despite his good form. OTHER TIPS: If short on cash, choose big players from small teams ahead of the smallies from the biggies. They are more likely to play ninety minutes and get you points.
