![]() FAVOURABLE FIXTURES: Chelsa & Spurs are favourites this GW, as they host newcomers Leicester City & QPR respectively at home. Chelsea managed to win convincingly against the only other promoted team, Burnley in GW 1. Spurs on the other hand, welcome former manager Harry Rednapp back to the lane in a London derby. Man Utd would be gamble after failing to get any points in Van Gaal's first match in the EPL. BARGAIN BUYS:
David Nugent of Leicester, Glen Murray of Palace & Lukas Jutkiewicz of Burnley have all been prolific in preseason, scoring 4, 5 & 6 goals respectively. With their cost as low as 5 or 5.5, they can prove to be good buys for managers looking for a cheap third striker. Gylfi Sigurdsson, who wont be cheap for long looks like an ideal deal for all fantasy managers, the way he was two years ago. His price has already gone up from 6 to 6.2 in just 2 days. TEAMS AND PLAYERS TO AVOID: As mentioned earlier, Leicester City & QPR wouldn't be good choices for fantasy managers as they line up against the premier league heavyweights. Also, it would be safe to avoid picking defenders from Liverpool or City as the last time's toppers face off in the first big match of the season. It would also be worth noticing that Liverpool face a tough set of fixtures in the coming weeks. Fantasy managers are advised to make necessary changes. Kyle Walker, Alvaro Negredo, Luke Shaw & Adam Lallana remain sidelined with injury, while Robert Snodgrass' injury in his first match for Hull is further bad news. Van Persie, however could be expected to get some gametime against Sunderland PLAYERS TO WATCH: Gylfi Sigurdsson : The Iceland international scored heavily in GW1 with 13 points. The star performance against Man Utd with a goal and an assist means he is the joint top scorer among midfielders along with Rahim Sterling. Cesc Fabregas : The former Arsenal player was on song against Burnley on his debut for Chelsea. He was the architect of two of Chelsea's goals and also earned three bonus points last GW. During his last season in Premier League, the midfielder scored 128 points in 1880 minutes in Fantasy Premier League. OTHER TIPS: Do your purchases early. The players, if they performed well the last GW, are likely to get costlier as the days go on. Also, the ones who under-performed are likely to get cheaper. Keep these in mind while selling or buying players. This strategy can be quiet useful to increase the overall value of you team so you can have more money for the future.
