CANDIDATE MANIFESTOS
Below you can view the candidates who have put themselves forward to run as Board Members for the 2017/18 season
Alok badri - Mumbai
I have been a part of India Spurs for the last 3 years and a part of the admin team for the 2 years on the running. Apart from contributing to the various posts on Twitter and Facebook for India Spurs to increase the reach and the base of India Spurs, I have also participated actively for the arrangements of screenings and other events in Mumbai with the City Head Aditya. I am also a founding member of the first ever Spurs related podcast in India. I have contributed to India Spurs in every way possible from my position, so far. I am a civil service aspirant and I have good administrative skills. I would like to use my experience for the betterment of India Spurs and I am ready to accept an added responsibility in the India Spurs family.
NISCHAY VEGI - CHENNAI
It's no secret for those who're admins that we aren't in the best of phases as a SC, and this is where I think I could contribute most.
1. Probably the most important trait for any admin of a Supporters Club, Passion. I am absolutely passionate about the club and the SC. So much so that I have the club's motto linked and it's time we as a SC start doing what we believe in as well.
2. I have been an organizer at an event management company already and this will come into use while the SC's planning process for hosting events.
3. I am the City head for Chennai and also am a part of the Instagram team. Under my leadership, Chennai has had screenings which hadn't taken place before and has events occasionally.
4. Arsenal. Oh wait. They didn't even achieve their annual trophy this season.
5. Time. Being a student, I'm going to definitely be in Chennai for a minimum of three years and have free time at my hands with very few commitments. This will allow for me to pay my undivided attention to the progression of the SC.

SAYAN MUKHERJEE - HYDERABAD/ KOLKATA
I am a hard-core spurs fan from my heart.
For the past few years I have been actively working as a volunteer for India Spurs. I had taken up the Instagram page of the SC and helped it to grow day by day. I have been also making the graphics and posters that are posted on all the social media platforms.
The future of Spurs is bright and in safe hands of Pochettino ! So I too would like to take up a role of the Social media head and take India Spurs to the very next level !

akash chaturvedi - mumbai
I am eighteen years old and studying in Mumbai.
I wish to apply, as I feel that Tottenham Hotspur as a club has a lot scope to grow in the hearts of many enthusiast football fans in India. The viewership of football in India is constantly growing and I believe that the Indian fans just need a link with our club, so by growing our fan club we could be that link for many football fans.
My vision for this group is to become more than a fan club and become a community.
I feel with the advancing position of our club, we have an exciting opportunity for us to become the first and only club many Indians begin to support.
With me being a student it makes it easier for me to connect with fellow students to grow our clubs fan base with a youth population both locally and nationally.

FAIZAL A - KERALA
I am from the southernmost part of India Called Kerala. A die hard spurs supporter even during our bleak days ;-)
I was one of the first few members like Suraj , Janhavi etc who formed the India Spurs Group. Even though I was on the initial group and an avid supporter I was not able to dedicate much of my time to India Spurs due to my business commitments and family.
I have two Apple Stores and have an IT distribution company In Kerala.
I was involved with setting up Kerala Spurs with the assistance of Suraj . We have a very good team now conducting regular screenings .To be honest after the initial setting up it grew more than expectations .
I have been to two world cups (South Africa and Brazil) and was able to fly India Spurs Flag in Brazil and was featured on the Tottenham homepage when I cheered for our Belgian contingent in Brazil .

Now I think I could dedicate more of my time to making India Spurs the best supporters group .
So please consider me if it is possible for strengthening India Spurs. I will be honoured if you will consider me .
Thanks

JOSH SANDHU - UK
I Josh Sandhu, would like to put myself forward to be part of the India Spurs board for season 2017/18. Here's my reason why:
Having been part of a local Spurs Supporters group for over 10 years, I have experienced first hand of following Spurs and working with the club on a weekly basis to bring fans and the club closer together through football.
With the benefit of being located in UK, I would aim to liaise with THFC directly on a regular basis to attach India Spurs even closer to the club as well as negotiate regular benefits for fans based in India.
With 20 years of management and sales experience, I look to use my expertise to bring structure and guidance to grow the supporters club and make it future proof.
Growth of India Spurs and funding the supporters club will be the direct aim for season 2017/18. Regular match attendance for India Spurs and regular fundraisers will be the immediate priority so that it allows more options as to how we can promote the growth of India Spurs and keep that consistent.

Ravi teja reddy - bangalore
I've been supporting Spurs for about 10 years. The last couple of years have been extra special due to my association with India Spurs. I've witnessed and experienced a lot of memorable match day screenings with the super passionate Spurs' fan contingent.
If elected to the board, my top priority would be to keep up the quality of these screenings and increase the social media exposure for the India Spurs' activities.
I am currently working as a Management Consultant in Bangalore. I look forward to serving the Spurs' fans.
