![]() Take a moment this morning to applaud Harry Kane and his amazing season, even although injury possibly cost him a third Golden Boot and cast a shadow over the end of the year. Trying to keep track of his various records and stats during the season quickly became a full time task and to try and record them all here would be impossible. We look back upon some of the highlights.

![]() The last look at the art world and how its treated Tottenham over the years this season. So a massive thank you to everyone who has offered suggestions for inclusion. I still have a file full but please keep sending them sometimes a real gem pops up. Also mega thank you to the artists whom I managed to track down and who gave their permission to use their work. We start this time with this clever pic under the Lamppost. ![]() These occasional dips into the photographic vaults seem to have been well received so when someone said do you have any more 'old' Old Wembley pictures, having run a number on social media I thought just the thing to vile away a few minutes as the season reaches a climax and before Spurs pack their hampers and head back round the M25. Enjoy. ![]() The Tale of the Tottenham manager who wore a disguise when he scouted players. What the judge had to say when a Spurs legend appeared before him and when refs mess up should they be sent to South America? The last Planet Spurs of the season is back with a few of my favourite tales from the wonderful World of Hotspur that you might have missed but are worth remembering... and certainly wouldn’t happen these days. ![]() We interrupt your serious reading for this important message. This was originally entitled the last Ad Break as I thought the series had ran its course and any further gems appearing could be slipped in elsewhere. No sooner had I planned that than a heap of ads fell in my lap. Therefore there will be a couple more 'breaks.' In the meantime this set has some faces you will know and some dating from over a hundred years ago. There are also still a few gems I've yet to track down and the search will continue. ![]() By the time you read this it will be more than two years since I wondered how we should celebrate White Hart Lane. By collecting together various milestones 'along the Lane' the series first ran daily on social media and was so well received it quickly became clear it should be compiled into a followup series to entertain as well as be a reference. If I have envisaged what a Herculean undertaking it would grow to become, well. Maybe its fitting that as the series ends our new home dominates the North London skyline much I hope like the team will for the next hundred or so years. ![]() In The Collection we look at various artifacts from the clubs history. This latest gathering starts with the banner from the last game at White Hart Lane. This one using the famous Nicholson gates photo. Next and the friendly match with Glasgow Celtic in August 1967, they had just become European Champions. Before the game the sides exchanged rugs instead of the traditional pennants. Keep an eye out in pre-season. ![]() With the World Cup drawing closer we explore the Tottenham connections with another of the countries taking part this summer, South, (officially The Republic of), Korea. Spurs have played in the country in one tournament and have featured a couple of players from there, as well as some of the international links. ![]() The Portrait Gallery where we look at some of the artists impressions of Tottenham men over the years and supply a photographic reminder (where needed) so that you can judge just how well the artist caught their subject. We start with our captain form the fifties Championship winning side, Ron Burgess, his further likenesses are below. ![]() Regular readers will know I caution against believing everything you read in the papers. Well this story I expect you will remember and you cant believe what you see either. Poor old Chris Ramsey 'airbrushed' from history at the whim of a sub-editor in April 2014. As we take another look at how the press have covered the Spurs. ![]() Keeping an eye on how the press have reported Spurs over the years and this time around we start with the front page and a story we covered in the series on the Double and the crowds for the Sunderland game. There is a story of what one of our team did on holiday. Bill Nicholson on the war path and an opponent takes to the mountains as well as some transfer gossip. ![]() Nearing the bottom of the adverts file, although you can still send in any I've missed. We start off this collection and its the 80's and Paul Miller who was use to getting to grips with defenders here promotes his own sportswear line with model Tessa Hewitt. Below - We find Terry Venables and this time he is promoting a hotel he owns in Spain. |
